If I have my external USB drive connected during start-up Vista doesn't see it, but if I just unplug the USB cable and plug it back in Vista then sees it OK.
Anyone any suggestions - rather annoying to have to keep plugging it in!

External USB Drive not recognized on startup
I have a similar problem, I can plug my USB drive in and the driver load everything is fine, then it dissapears. Nothing in the Device manager showing it was ever there. I have been looking for a fix but yet to find any. Drive works perfect with Win2k, XP, 2003 advanced Server, etc. Just not with Beta2.
